who knows where the time goes

Twelve fragments of wood, clay, binder, and acrylic paint hold the layered weight of time. Shaped by years of exploring identity and the environments that sculpt it, these works echo the resilience of weathered facades and the quiet endurance of nature. At the core is a fascination with how stories and life circumstances—especially those beyond our choosing—leave lasting marks on our personhood.

The growth and erosion of identity are mirrored in the physical process: layers are shattered, sanded, and reshaped, revealing traces of what came before. What remains is both worn and renewed, inviting the viewer to trace their own story within the layers. In this way, the series becomes less an answer than a mirror, reflecting the many ways we are changed by what we endure.
